SSO
SSO lets your team sign in to Mermaid using your organization’s identity provider, instead of separate Mermaid logins. That means fewer passwords to manage and cleaner offboarding when someone leaves. Available on Premium and Enterprise plans.
Supported providers
Mermaid supports SAML 2.0-based identity providers including Okta, Azure AD, and Google Workspace.
Set up SSO
- Go to Settings → Organization → SSO.
- Select your identity provider.
- Enter Mermaid’s SSO metadata into your provider’s settings.
- Paste your provider’s metadata URL into Mermaid.
- Click Test connection to verify.
- Click Enable SSO.
Once enabled, members are redirected to your identity provider to sign in.
Enforce SSO
To require all members to sign in via SSO and disable password-based login:
- Go to Settings → Organization → SSO.
- Toggle Enforce SSO on.
Enforcing SSO logs out all current sessions. Members will need to sign back in via your identity provider.
Provision members automatically
If your identity provider supports SCIM, you can automatically provision and deprovision Mermaid accounts when members join or leave your organization. Contact support@mermaid.ai to enable SCIM provisioning.
