Update your profile

  1. Go to Settings → Profile.
  2. Update your name, email, or password.
  3. Click Save.

Your plan and billing

Free trial

New accounts start on the Basic plan with a 7-day free trial. During the trial you have access to the full editor, limited AI, and up to 3 diagrams. No credit card required.

To see how many trial days you have remaining, go to Settings → Billing.

When the trial ends your account stays on the Basic plan — you keep your diagrams and access to the editor. Anything you’ve built doesn’t disappear.

Upgrade your plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Change plan.
  3. Select a plan and confirm.

Upgrades take effect immediately. If you’re upgrading mid-cycle, you’re charged the prorated difference. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.

Check your AI credits

AI credits are used each time you generate or edit a diagram with Mermaid AI. To check your balance:

  1. Go to Settings → Credits.
  2. Your current balance and usage history are listed there.

Credits refill annually with your plan. To add more before your cycle resets, go to Settings → Credits → Add credits.

Delete your account

To permanently delete your account, contact hello@mermaid.ai. Deletion removes all diagrams, presentations, and account data and cannot be undone.
